“No State Can Save” is an original Christian rock song about refusing to give ultimate allegiance to any political or economic system. As a child of the 1980s, I understand the danger of Communism, but Capitalism is not the savior of God’s people either. Communists do not own God’s people. Capitalists do not own God’s people. No state, party, economy, or earthly power has dominion over those who belong to God.
