“10% Tithe, 100% Theft” is a direct Christian warning against churches that teach mandatory tithing and tell believers they are stealing from God if they do not give 10% of their income. God does not need our money to do His work, and He does not mandate a fixed percentage from Christians. He welcomes sincere gifts from the heart. If you come from a church that pressures you this way, I urge you to do your own research, think for yourself, and do not simply accept your pastor’s protest against honest questions. The biblical tithe was tied to ancient Israel, the Levites, and care for widows and orphans. It was not a command to build fancy churches, fund religious glamour, or frighten people into handing over their money. No soul is lost because someone refuses to fork over cash to a church. A church that says, “Pay 10%, or you are stealing from God,” is not protecting you. It is taking from you. God is praised by a sincere, contrite, and humble heart, by prayer, by obedience, and by songs of praise. Church luxury praises man. A humble heart praises God.
